Theme or general spaces

At Nantes and in the outlying areas, entrepreneurs can lease an office in spaces dedicated to digital like the Hub Créatic (photo opposite) or La Cantine, to the social and solidarity economy, the Solilab, or to the field of health and wellness at the Creative Care Factory.

Other spaces are more general: the business incubators of the Créatic network and most of the business centres on the outskirts of Nantes are equipped to host all types of activity.

Internationally oriented office spaces

Two business centres, in particular, have an international outlook: the Nantes St-Nazaire CCI business centre and the Nuage B business centre, also located at Montreal in Canada.

Unconventional business spaces

Office rental at Nantes: commercial and industrial sites

Northwest of Nantes, the Ar Mor business park at Nantes Saint-Herblain, near the ring road and the Atlantis shopping and cultural centre, is strategically positioned. Second employment cluster of Greater Nantes, it can host 110 000 m2 of offices and services, which attract large corporations as well as SMEs, such as Veolia Environnement, IMA Technologies, Sopra Steria, Oceanet Technology and the Euptouyou business centre.

In the city centre, the Euronantes business cluster

The largest business cluster under development on the Atlantic Coast, Euronantes will have a capacity of 600 000 m2 of office space by 2020. Close to the TGV high-speed train station and the pubic transport network (tramway, busway, chronobus, etc.), overlooking the city and the river Loire, this residential district combines, housing, shops and offices. Numerous large corporations have already decided to open offices there: Capgemini, Voyages-sncf.com, Fidelia Assistance, Ernst and Young, Veolia as well as the BURO Club, Multiburo and Regus business centres.

On the Île de Nantes, the district of creative and cultural industries

New pole of attraction for the metropolis, Île de Nantes is an extension of the historical centre. A dynamic area where people live and work, it is at the heart of an urban project aimed at increasing the offer to 10 000 dwellings (700 000 m2) and 450 000 m2 of services and offices by 2030. Île de Nantes hosts in particular the Creative Arts District – including the famous Machines de l’Île and the Eléphant – with spaces dedicated to the creative and cultural industries, such as the Karting and the Centrale, which attract startups. The renovated Alstom Halls will soon house a business development centre and the Cantine Numérique alongside a university centre, the School of Fine Arts and the School of Design.

Technoparc de l’Aubinière

A landscaped business park east of the river Erdre, near the ring road and the A11 motorway, the Technoparc de l’Aubinière proposes numerous offices for rent at Nantes Est, in particular in the Excalibor and Multiburo Nantes Est business centres.

La Chantrerie innovation park

In the north east, in a listed site on the banks of the river Erdre, La Chantrerie park hosts technological and tertiary companies as well as higher education and research establishments (Ecole des Mines, Polytech Nantes, Ecole du Bois and the Atlanpole technology park). Located near the A11 motorway, this park is also easy to access from the city centre on chronobus C6 and express line E5. Its dynamism attracts an increasing number of players, such as the Hub Créatic, an incubator for companies dedicated to digital technologies, and its numerous innovating startups.
